The Project SEARCH program is a vocational option for students who are in their last year at GROW. Founded in 1996 and currently replicated at 300 locations throughout the world, Riverview was the first Project SEARCH affiliate in Massachusetts. Through Riverview’s partnerships with Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital, students receive extensive on-the-job training and career exploration opportunities to prepare for competitive employment. During their Project SEARCH internships, students rotate through 3 different departments at the hospitals such as Pharmacy, Emergency Center, Human Resources, Sterile Processing, Materials Management and the Medical Records Department.
